In 2023, I discovered a life-giving and therapeutic hobby: crafting with sensory and vintage items. I have ADHD, anxiety with panic, depression, PTSD, sensory issues, and chronic migraines. Vintage toys and decorative pieces introduced my war-torn mind to simplicity and creative fun. I enjoy experimenting with combinations of kinetic sand, slim, Play-Doh, rice, polymer and air-dry clays, antiques, acrylic paints, and fidgets. My imagination goes wild by setting up delightful scenes with toys in quirky cups, containers, and other crafting houses. I love to display my crafts here and on Pinterest. I also sell them in area craft shows and my online craft store. The peace and creative discovery that comes from designing these crafts are gifts from God. My hope is that my crafts will be educational, fun, therapeutic, and make people (especially kids) SMILE.

Unaware Scarecrow doesn’t realize he has a ceramic ghost sneaking up on him. The adorable scarecrow, with his coat and bowtie, is enjoying his time in rice, beans, and kinetic sand mixed in slime to keep everything tightly in place, including the ghost about to scare the straw out of the scarecrow.
